In my work as a psychotherapist, I have been witness to the incredible human capacity for healing and growth. Perhaps the way is not always easy, but I have seen that with courage and intention, one can achieve a sense of wholeness, vitality and a more purposeful life. My approach is holistic, taking into consideration body, mind, and spirit, and recognizing the inherent presence of psyche that moves toward growth no matter how deep the wounding or severe the inner conflict. I work mostly with individual adults, as well as children and adolescents.
I maintain strong ethical principles; always approaching each person from a place of respect, empathy, and compassion. I see clients in person in Grass Valley, CA, and from a distance via telecommunications.
My work is primarily based on Jungian and archetypal psychologies, which take into consideration the undercurrents of our symptoms and conscious behaviors. I also draw upon family systems, existential psychology, relational therapy, Gestalt techniques, and mindfulness practices. Currently, I am a candidate in the analytic training program at the C.G. Jung Institute of Colorado.
